Meet Reagan – A Loyal Heart Ready for a Fresh Start !   Regal in name and noble in spirit, Reagan is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who turns heads with his classic black-and-tan coat and striking 90-pound frame. He’s a big guy with an even bigger heart—and he’s ready to share it with the right family.   Reagan loves the simple joys in life: car rides, pup cups, a good game of fetch (he really loves his ball), and hanging out with his people. He’s equally content entertaining himself with toys or soaking up quality time with his foster family and dog siblings. He’s crate trained, housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and is dog-friendly. Reagan is also good with kids, though older children (10+) are a better match for his size and energy level.  Because this boy can really catch some air when the ball is flying, a secure 6 foot fence is recommended to help keep him safe while he plays. Reagan has been friendly with everyone he has met and is still learning that the world is a safe place although he has a bit of a shadow or light fixation. His past left him a little unsure, especially when approached too quickly. Because of this, he’ll thrive in a home with an experienced handler who can guide him gently and confidently.  Due to his high prey drive, a home without cats is best for Reagan.  With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Reagan will blossom into the loyal, playful, and devoted companion he was always meant to be. Ready to help Reagan write his next chapter?
