Hello! My name is Rigatoni, aka Riggs or Riggy. I'm about 4 months old and 22 pounds. I was received by a shelter as a lone stray. I was quickly brought to my foster family and immediately fit right in. I love to run and play with my fur foster siblings and cuddle with my humans when it's nap time! I'm also a big fan of squeaky toys, all the food, treats, and ice cubes. I would love a family who can give me lots of love, patience, and play time. A family with another dog would be great, too, because I just love playing with my spunky foster sister the most!  I have a moderate energy level and don't need a fenced in yard as long as someone regularly exercises me on leash.  I have been around cats and kids and did well with them. I'm still trying to learn that I I'm supposed to potty outside every time - oops. It's going to take a little time and patience, but I'm getting the hang of it and I'm very food motivated. The same goes for the crate. I don't love being in there when I know you are still in the house, unless it's bedtime. I can get really noisy when I'm letting you know I don't want to be in there! At night, though, I settle down pretty quickly and sleep until morning.

I'm very much a puppy, but I am a sweet boy who loves everyone! If you think you can offer me my furever home, please contact your adoption coordinator. If you do not yet have an adoption coordinator, please complete an adoption application at www.freedomgermanshepherdrescue.org . I am being fostered outside of Raleigh, NC.
