Hello good people!  My name is Barron, and I’m a 1 year old, 70 pound German Shepherd.  I’m mostly black but I have the absolute coolest patches of brown on my feet.  I am the best “fetch” player ever and I love my Kong ball more than life itself.  I definitely need strong rubber toys that cannot be de-stuffed or torn apart.  My foster family’s yard has a 5 foot fence, but my foster mom says I don’t even need it. I mostly just love to be with my people, and they call me 4 legged Velcro - whatever that means!  I really want to learn, and I’m a great listener.  I had some tummy troubles when I first got out of the shelter and had to have a special diet for a little while but I’m all good now as long as you don’t switch things up and give me too many treats.  I haven’t been around many other dogs but I’ve been friends with all of the ones I have met so far.  I chased the cat in my foster home so maybe a home without one of those would be best. I also got to meet my neighbor’s grandchildren, and I did great with them!  I may knock young children over without meaning to though because I sometimes jump a little when I get excited. I also think I’m a lap dog! We are working hard on my manners, and I can already sit and shake. I’m very good on a leash and absolutely love long walks with my people.  I am house broken and crate trained.  I don’t mind the crate especially at night when I’m tired.  My foster family says I’m the most handsome boy ever and I’d love to meet you and teach you to throw my ball (over and over LOL).
