Introducing the beautiful, the sweet, the cuddle bug, Dory! Dory is roughly 8 months old and weighs 36 pounds. She was found wandering the streets as a malnourished stray with her sister. She absolutely adores children! She’s obsessed with her 8 month old and 8 year old human foster sisters and loves to cuddle up with her humans on the couch. She is crate trained and house broken. She really enjoys walks and is learning to play fetch. She is currently working with a trainer on heel, place, and other training principles. She picks up on training very quickly and is highly food motivated. She loves her training sessions because they give her a chance to show how much she has learned in a short period of time. Dory is interested in cats and may do well with dog savvy ones. She isn’t mean to her foster feline siblings, but she does struggle to respect their boundaries, although with continued training, she may be just fine with a kitty or two. Another canine sibling to play with to teach her how to be her best girl would be great for her. Her current foster sister is an old lady and has no interest in playing. Her energy level for a GSD is moderate. If she is walked twice a day for a little while she is able to lay back and relax with her family. She has been living the farm life with chickens and horses on several acres. She is curious about the chickens and wants to chase them. But, hey, she's a puppy!  She’s had exposure to a lot of different types of animals and so a yard with a 4 foot fence or higher is required. She’s loyal and protective over her people.
