Everyone meet Zorba, the first dog I have known that actually gives you hugs by wrapping her legs and paws around your legs, which is adorable. She is the sweetest, most lovable girl who has the biggest heart and tries to sit in your lap for cuddles. She likes to be where you are and loves going on car rides and adventures with you.  Zorba is 4 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Although we have no idea what her life was like before she ended up in the shelter, we do know that she is now being loved in her foster home, surrounded by 3 other dogs to interact and play with: 1 male Rottweiler looking dog and 2 female German Shepherds, both adopted from Freedom. Zorba gets along well with other dogs, both small and large, and all people and children. The children she has met have been 8 and older, but we see no reason why she would not do well with younger children, too. Zorba is a smart girl and has learned to give her paw for treats. She is crate and house trained. She has free roam of her foster mom's house and can be trusted not to eat or destroy anything when left home alone.  We think she should probably have a fenced in yard but she really doesn't take that much notice of deer or squirrels that run by. However, she is a little too interested in her foster mom's cats, so a home without cats is probably best for her. Zorba likes chewing on balls and occasionally will chase one and bring it back. Her foster mom thinks the more the ball is thrown for her, the more she will play.  Overall though, she is happiest when she is with her people and loves being petted and getting belly rubs. Zorba is truly a beautiful soul inside and out and would be a wonderful companion for a family or a  single person. Additionally, we believe she will do well with or without other dogs in the home. This girl just wants to be loved and be a good girl for you.
