Eloise is the sweetest, kindest, adorable blonde girl! She is about 65 pounds, approximately 2 years old, sleek looking and yes, can run fast! She looks like a Cheetah when she does her zoomies around the backyard. She loves the other dogs in her foster home – one male and two female German Shepherds. She has met small and large dogs out on walks and gets along with both. She has met cats and is very indifferent to them. Eloise seems to have a low prey drive and moderate energy level. She loves car rides and going on walks and hikes. She ended up at a shelter earlier in 2024. We believe she had a litter of puppies that were taken away from her and was then dumped in a rural area and never reclaimed. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but will warm up quickly and loves children. She has not met any children under 6, but is wary of sudden movements. Eloise can be a little shy with men, but again will warm up the more you gain her trust and confidence. She is blossoming as her confidence grows and she learns more about life and the good people in it. She is crate trained and housebroken and can be trusted to have free roam in the house. She walks well on her leash and loves water and the splash pool her foster family has. She has learned to play ball and will bring it back to you now. We would suggest a fenced in yard, at least 4 feet high, just so she can play safely and be off leash. She would love to play with, and bring you, toys, like stuffed animals and balls. She loves belly rubs and rolling in the grass and she has a goofy side to her. She has been working in basic commands and has been good at the vets and groomers. Eloise is beautiful inside and out and will make the best loyal companion and give you so much love. Please consider making her a part of your family.
