Sherman is not just your typical German Shepherd; he's the epitome of a perfect gentleman. At 6 years old and 60 pounds, he brings a wealth of wisdom, love, and calmness to any home lucky enough to welcome him. Sherman had a rough life before coming to the rescue. Upon examination at the rescue’s vet, it was discovered he had suffered pelvic fractures, possibly from being hit by car, what appeared to be several months prior to entering the rescue. The fractures were already healing at that time, so no surgical intervention was required. You’d never know today that any of that happened, as he’s a happy, healthy boy! Sherman is house and crate trained making him the perfect house guest. He has also proven himself a perfect companion with dogs both big and small. With his friendly disposition he is always ready to make new friends. He is a little sensitive about his ears so older kids would probably be better for him. With a heart of gold, Sherman is a true companion through and through. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or taking leisurely strolls in the park, Sherman's loving nature shines through in everything he does. Sherman has a youthful spirit and is always ready for new adventures. His outgoing personality makes him a joy to be around, and he never fails to bring a smile to the faces of everyone he meets.
