Meet Rhea! This bombshell beauty is about 3 years old and 52 pounds and had a pretty rough start to life. When she first arrived in the rescue, her tail had been burned almost to the base, which prompted an emergency tail amputation.  Once she arrived in her foster home and knew that she was safe, she warmed quickly to everyone in the home, including the resident dog and cat, and strangers alike. Rhea has proven to be not only brave and resilient, but also very loving and pretty social. She loves to shadow her foster mom, helping her do anything and everything. Rhea lives for car rides, day trips, weekend adventures, or just lounging and cuddling around on the sofa. Despite being a tripod, Rhea gets around just fine. She is able to do all of the things that her 4-legged foster sister can do, including going up and down stairs, hopping in and out of the truck, and even some good ol’ roughhousing with her foster sister (in which she always wins). She is crate trained and house broken. She is also kid, cat and chicken friendly!
