Please meet Princess Beatrix, aka Bea, a most precious, loving and loyal German Shepherd young girl. She may not have had the best start in life. She ended up at a shelter with just a number attached to her, and no name, but this girl has blossomed into an amazing dog, who just wants to please everyone, be happy and loved. Bea is about 11 months old, weighs around 50 pounds, house and crate trained, walks really well on a leash and harness and just is the perfect princess.   She loves adults, children of all ages and other dogs and isn’t bothered by cats. She doesn’t have a high prey drive for squirrels, rabbits or birds; she really takes no notice of them. She is learning to play fetch and in the 5 weeks we have had her, she has really opened up and found out what being a dog is all about. She loves going for car rides, getting treats and is learning to sit and give her paw. She loves belly rubs, too.   Her body gets stronger every day - she was quite weak when we first got her, but with good food and an exercise regimen, she gets fitter every day and is now running with our 3 other dogs (one male mix and 2 female German Shepherds) around our backyard. Because she craves attention, she does not require a fenced in yard. She loves to chew on sticks and will happily carry one around in her mouth and let you play tug with her. She is still a puppy and has chewed the corner of our wooden stairs a little, but will continue to grow out of this with continued work and patience. She is a beautiful girl with a heart of gold and would love a forever family of her own. She is just a happy girl, who wants to please and be loved.
