Hey everyone! I’m Bear, the most gorgeous 2 year-old, 75 pound boy with all black fur and tan legs. My foster mom thinks it’s funny that my undercoat is also tan. I absolutely love running and playing with my fur brother, Roscoe. My foster dad took me on a 3 mile run and I did so well that I think I’d like to do that more often and maybe go faster and further! My foster mom wants to see how I do running alongside a bike to help with my moderate to high energy level. My recall is so good and I like being with my foster family so much that I do not need a fenced in yard. Another cool thing about me is that I am cat friendly.   I don’t care much for dog toys, but I do enjoy a good bone or random items I find laying around the house like stuffed animals, my human sister’s toys, and sometimes shoes. I’ve been working on corrections like drop it and leave it when I get into something that doesn't belong to me. Since I got here in late December I haven’t had any accidents in the house, but I did learn very quickly that I don’t like crates. My foster mom thinks I will do all right on free roam in the house if there is no human or dog food laying out for me to get into. I would much rather have a home where my humans are home more often than not because I really love being right by my foster parents and getting all of their love and attention. My human foster sister is 3 years old and as much as I like her, I tend to knock her down, thwap her with my tail, and play a little too rough with her so a home with older kids might be best.
