My name is Addie and I am a very smart, loving, cuddly and energetic 5 month old girl. I am up to date on all shots and have a perfect bill of health, although I will still need to be spayed. I wake up each morning like a rocket and do my morning gymnastics. Watch out for your coffee because nothing stands in the way from me and my morning kisses! After playing with my foster sister, I calm down and will remind you that it is time for my breakfast. I sit nicely and wait until my foster mom fills up my bowl. I eat all my food but still act like I need more……I’m a growing girl! I’m also polite and let my foster sister eat her food in peace, even though I’m drooling, watching her. I am potty trained and love to go outside because I know there is a treat waiting for me when I come back in. I have become a little curious about squirrels and will chase after them in my front yard so my foster parents only lets me out in the fenced back yard now. Because of my curious nature, having a six foot high fence would be ideal. When it’s time for my morning nap, I cuddle up on the floor vent so I am nice and cool. I lounge around most days but when my human brother and sister get home, my rocket energy kicks in again. We love to play chase but I am still learning my manners when it comes to jumping up and being mouthy. I would probably do best in a home with older kids so I don’t accidentally knock anyone over. Sometimes I will find a shoe or sock to sneak off with, but my foster mom keeps replacing those items with treats, which taste much better. My favorite thing to do after dinner is get in bed for story time with my human sister. I would prefer to sleep in bed with her but my mom comes and gets me so I can sleep in my big girl room. After I get some evening couch cuddles, I go to sleep in the laundry room in my nice cozy bed. I sleep all through the night without making a peep. I do love playing with my foster sister but would also be okay as an only child as long as someone has the time to play with me. I’m highly treat motivated and would really excel with extra training. I LOVE treats! My foster parents work from home so I get a lot of attention. I LOVE attention! If anyone in my house is getting some I make sure I put myself front and center so I I don’t miss out on anything. When my family does has to leave, they put me in my room with some treats and I patiently wait for them to come home. I am crate trained, but prefer to free roam. The one thing I hate is car rides! I get a little car sick. The nice vet gave me some medicine to help but he thinks I should grow out of it. I walk nicely on a leash and like to get out and explore. I haven’t met any dogs or people I don’t like. I haven’t been around cats but they kind of remind me of squirrels so I may want to chase them as well. My foster parents think I may have a bit of a longer/fluffier coat and I’m still adjusting to getting brushed. I just got my first pedicure and everyone was so impressed with how well I did!
