  • Meet Shadow, a petite 8ish month old boy who weighs in at around 45lbs.   Don’t let that fool you though, this guy comes with a big personality. Shadow’s favorite thing is meal time. Loves his breakfast/dinner and really loves his foster mom’s homemade treats- carrots frozen in chicken or beef broth.   Yum!   He also really loves playing with other dogs, entertaining himself with tennis balls and chewing on bones. He is crate trained, potty trained and does well on the leash.   He would do best in a home where there’s another dog(s) to play with, but would also be fine as the only dog- especially if he gets all of the attention! Remember the part where we said he has a big personality?   Let’s elaborate on that.. Shadow is a talkative boy, who has a lot to say.   He will let you know exactly what he wants and if he doesn't want to do something he will lay down and refuse to move— except when it’s bed time, aka zoomie time . Shadow doesn’t particularly enjoy it when people run up to him and he takes a moment to get comfortable with new people, but if you give him a treat you’ll be his new best friend!   He will require an adopter who’s willing to continue working on socialization and training. Overall, Shadow is a spunky little guy that’s ready to find his forever home!   Does he sound like the right fit for you?
