Haiiiiiii!   My name is Bella!   I’m an approximately 8 year old spayed female, weighing 65 pounds, and I am nothing but muscle!   I’m dog friendly too (both big and smaller dogs)! My foster parents say that my athletic body is because of how much I love to play with my younger foster brother and toys!   One of my nicknames is “slippyfoot” because I run for the ball so fast that I slide on the hardwoods until I catch it. I would probably do best in a home without young children though. Sometimes, I have too much fun and can get mouthy when I get carried away playing.   Oh yeah, one of my other favorite things to do after playtime is to curl up and snuggle with my humans.   I’m a little slow to warm up to new people and dogs, but once I trust you, we will snuggle all the time (and I’ll occasionally sneak in a kiss). My foster parents tell me that I’ve changed a lot while I’ve been here by learning to trust new people and become a playful and sometimes rambunctious adult (making up for lost time)!   They say I would do best with a confident leader to help me understand boundaries and that another dog would actually help me to build my own confidence in a new home. I am very curious.   I love to learn and work, especially for snack'ums. I want to make my humans happy and love to be part of everything. However, I can be a bit stubborn at times.   Whenever I meet new people or dogs, I can also be a little shy and like to hide between my foster parents' legs or in my crate.   I was surrendered to the shelter when my owner passed away.   When I first arrived with my foster parents, I was missing a lot of hair due to flea and food allergies.   Since then, they’ve helped me a lot to find the right food but my new family will need to help me manage my itches! I absolutely love broccoli and other veggies, but I love ALL food. I get sooo excited at mealtime that I run around barking and even dance on my back legs. I’m really good at balancing!   You want to travel?! Great! I travel great in the car.
