Hi everyone! My name is Dolly!   I’m a gorgeous four year old, 65lb Shepherd girl. My foster mom doesn’t know much about my life before Freedom, but I have been thriving while in her care.   I just love all the belly rubs and pets she gives me. I am currently living with a small fur sister and we get along pretty well, although sometimes I don’t think I fully understand how big I am compared to her. I love to chase squirrels and rabbits out of the yard, so I’m not sure how I would feel about cats. I do well in public around humans and other dogs. I love going for walks and hikes and I do also enjoy the occasional swim at the lake.   My foster mom thinks I would do best with an active family because of how much I love to run!   Given how much I like to chase the outdoor critters and how much I love to run, my foster mom thinks I should go to a home with a six foot fence.   I am housebroken and we have been working on my crate training.   I am a smart girl and can open the airline crates, so my foster mom thinks I would probably do better with a metal crate.   She also thinks I’d much prefer a family who is home more often than not.   Anywho, if you’re looking for a dog who can run and play but also be calm when it’s time to relax, I’m your girl!   If you would like to add me to your family, please reach out to your adoption coordinator.   If you do not yet have an adoption coordinator, please complete an adoption application at www.freedomgermanshepherdrescue.org
