Meet Theo!   He's a 1-ish year old, 80 pound boy that needs lots of physical and mental stimulation! He would do very well with a family that goes on lots of walks, hikes and has other physical activities he can join in on. He loves to have his neck scratched and his ears rubbed—really any form of lovin’! Sometimes he gets excited during pets and may give a gentle nibble when he wants you to pet him. Theo is potty trained and does very well in his crate while we are gone. He also sleeps in his crate for bed time, but might do well sleeping on his human’s bed or even in the bedroom with a dog bed. Theo also enjoys car rides, but doesn’t care about sticking his head out the window much. He pays zero attention to any toys or bones, but loves treats. We are working on taking treats a little softer, but he hasn’t quite caught on to the idea yet. Theo is a strong boy that gets very exited on his leash, but we are working on his pulling by using a gentle lead collar. He was also very talkative (to new people, new dogs, and his current kitty-brother), but we have worked a lot on this and he is doing so much better. He may still need to be reminded from time to time. Theo does well with other dogs after proper introductions and time, but would do well as an only dog with an active family as well. He currently has a kitty foster brother but is very obsessed, so he may do best in a home without kitties or with a very dog-savvy kitty. He also does well around his 1.5 year old human sister, but tends to knock her down when excited. He loves when she walks around with food and has a habit of being a thief (with a not-so-gentle mouth) so he may do best in a kid free home or a home with older kids.   Overall Theo is a handsome boy that needs lots of activity and love, and would do great in most any home!!
