Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Maggie, a five year old, 65 pound girl. Don't let my age fool you. I still have plenty of pep in my step and enjoy daily walks and can run, especially if food is involved.   I ended up at the shelter because my former family couldn't afford my medical care. I was sad at first but am so much happier now that my infections are gone and i have received a clean bill of health! I am also thrilled to report that none of the mammary chain tumors that were removed were cancerous —whoop whoop! I am so ready to meet my furever family. I love attention from kids of all ages and am extremely food motivated. I absolutely adore small children and even get along with dog savvy cats. I will chase a cat but will totally back off if he or she swats at me. Out in public, i am dog friendly and interact well with other dogs. For some reason, though, in the home, I prefer to be the only dog. I am housebroken and crate trained but my foster mom allows me to free roam when she's not home because I have excellent house manners. My favorite thing in the whole world is cuddling with my people. Therefore, my foster mom does not think that I will need a fence. I am being fostered near Fayetteville.
