Hi, my name is Zenzi! I am a 3-month-old puppy, with all the energy that comes with that.   My foster family calls me a love bug and cuddling on the couch or bed with my people is my favorite spot. I am a little nervous with new things – leash, thunder, bugs – but I quickly warm up with a little support from my people. I explore the world with my teeth as puppies do and that tends to get me in trouble. My foster family is helping me learn that there are better ways to explore the world around me and that kisses get me much more attention than nips. My favorite thing to do is play, but a close second is cuddling on the couch. My foster family has doggie friends for me to play with, but they are a bit grumpy. I try to play, they growl, I back off and then I try again a bit later. My foster family also has little humans! Their four-year-old is my bestie! She runs, I chase her. She throws a toy, I get it and then sometimes, if I’m lucky, we wrestle! I always win and get the pin! My foster family keeps telling me that I am going to be a great dog for someone when I grow up. I would love a family that has doggie or human friends that I can play with. I am still working on manners, but I am a quick learner. I know how to sit! I kennel well and only cry a little but quickly settle down! I am a pretty good leash walker and I’m working on waiting before meal time! That skill is the hardest since I love food sooooo much! I’m still having occasional accidents in the house but I’m learning to tell my family when I need to go outside! I haven’t met any other four-legged creatures, except doggies, so I don’t know if I like them yet but my foster family says I’m a pretty easy-going pup so I’m sure if properly introduced I could learn to love anything. I love kids, but am still learning not to nip so I need a family who will continue to work with me and kids that don’t mind a few love bites while I learn. I am excited to meet new people and can’t wait to meet my forever family!
