Have you always wanted a German Shepherd, but without all the long walks and training? T hat’s me, my name is Bruce!   I’m a sweet 75lb boy, who’s estimated to be around seven years old.   I have some arthritis, but I don’t let that get me down!   It just means my days of running and rambunctiousness are safely behind me. I love to be with my humans and will be very content to hang out with you all day. Right now I live with my shepherd foster sister and three cats. At first I wanted to play with the kitties when they ran around the house, but now I mostly ignore them. One of the cats likes to hiss at me if I get too close. I don’t know what her problem is, but it’s kind of funny! The other two sometimes hang out with me for naps, which are my favorite things after food, treats, meeting new dogs, and pets from my humans. I am crate trained but also have the run of the house with my foster sister and kitties so I can have my choice of napping spots all day. Short, slow strolls down the street are exactly my speed — I don’t want to miss any of the interesting smells! In my next home I dream of my own comfy bed and minimal stairs. My foster mom thinks I would be fine as an only dog, or with any other dogs that aren’t too insistent on playing hard, since I get around at my own pace.   I am being fostered in Southern Pines, NC.
