Hi everyone!   Meet Mongo!   He is a tall, 16 month old, 75 pound boy that has moderate energy.   He was an owner surrender due to unforeseen circumstances, so he knows exactly how to be your best friend! He is house trained and crate trained.   He loves to eat any kind of food.   He does prefer to be fed in his own space with his slow feeder, away from others who may want to take a nibble. He’ll gladly share human food, treats, and toys!   He absolutely loves his Kong squeaker ball and will play with it nonstop.   He enjoys fetch and will usually bring it back for more rounds. He plays well with his foster brothers Roscoe (dog) and Kiki (cat). Although sometimes he becomes infatuated with Kiki, he would never harm him. Mongo goes right into his crate with a treat and lays down with his blanket and bed. He sleeps well at night in any space to include the bed, bedroom floor/dog bed, or his crate. He can be a talker when he meets new two and four-legged friends, but a quick ‘Mongo’ or ‘no’ usually redirects his excitement. When he is very excited he can jump just a little or be gently mouthy.   He does well with any age child, but sometimes doesn’t realize his size when playing. He loves to go for walks and only pulls when he sees something he really wants, but overall he is a great pup that would do well in most any home!
