Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. Hi, my name is Sandy! I’m around four months old, but my manners make me seem older. I “sit” when asked, know what “no” means and I’m potty trained! Sometimes I take things I’m not suppose to, but if I’m told to “drop it”, I drop it! I guess I’m learning the rules pretty quick thanks to my furry foster sister- she tells me what I’m allowed to do most of the time! I started off sleeping in a crate, but since I was doing so well my foster parents let me sleep outside of the crate with my foster dog sister. I like people and do well with my little human foster sisters, except sometimes I get too excited and nibble a little. Oops! I correct easily, though. I may be a pup, but I’m quickly finding my voice. I love to let my family know when someone is coming near the house, especially if I don’t think they belong here. I am being fostered near Wilmington, NC. I can’t wait to find my forever home and show my forever family what a great pup I am! If you think that I would be a perfect addition to your family, please reach out to your adoption coordinator. If you do not yet have an adoption coordinator, please compete an adoption application at www.freedomgermanshepherdrescue.org.
