Hi everyone! My name is Sally! My birth mom is Denver, the beautiful shepherd Freedom posted last week. We think my dad is a Labrador/ mix, which is probably where I get my laidback side. My birthday is 7/12/21, so I am almost four months old. I am healthy and weigh 25 pounds. I am small, but I am fierce! I am mostly house broken. I go potty in the morning, again around noon and before bed. I also have a dog door so I can go out when I need too, but I still sometimes forget. I do use my foster mom’s bathroom floor sometimes, but I know she is not happy when she finds it. I have a foster sister, brother and a CAT. My sister is a blood hound and my brother is a basset. I love to run around the yard with Bobbilee, and we sleep together at night. Tater is pretty old, so I leave him alone, but he lets me snuggle with him on the sofa in the evening when my humans are watching TV. The CAT, well, he is suspicious. He slinks around, he has a cat jungle on the back porch between all the plants and I just don’t trust him. We are learning to get along, though. I don’t chase him or bark at him, much, any more and we are both allowed to sleep on the bed, but at opposite corners. He has his own cat room with a gate. I fit through his cat door, but I don’t actually use it. I know I am not allowed. I am smart girl, after all. I walk great on a leash and I do well off the leash as long as my big sister is there to show me what to do. We have a big fenced in yard, but we also have the bigger yard that has a pond. There is so much to sniff out there! We have breakfast at 6:30, lunch in the afternoon and dinner at 5. I am very polite and wait my turn. I eat Purina pro-plan puppy food with a half a can of wet food. It’s very yummy and I eat 4 cups a day spaced out. I do growl now and then when my siblings have already finished and they think I should share. I don’t like to share. I am not food motivated, but I want to make my foster mom happy with me so I listen and learn very fast. She says I am very smart and learn everything quickly. I know, potty, sit, bed time, no, come here, and “what are you doing,” which my foster days often says when he catches me doing something questionable I get along with other dogs, the CAT and all people. I do need to meet you first. I need to know your safe before I cover you in puppy kisses. I am not going to be a big girl, but I will be a terrific companion and snuggle bunny. I love my foster mom and dad more than my brother and sister. I am up for anything as long as they are there. If you think you could love me forever, I will love you and be at your side all my life.
