Hi, my name is Jazz! I’m a goofy, fun loving girl who’s approximately 10 months old. I’m on the smaller side and weigh between 45 and 50lbs. My foster mom tells me every day how pretty I am and how much she loves my smile! Don’t worry, though, it hasn’t gone to my head! I was found as a stray, but my foster mom discovered that I know basic commands (sit, down, shake paw, off, come) and thinks I may have had some previous training. Although I am a foster pup, my foster mom says I get along great with both of my female furry sisters (GSD mixes). I warmed up very quickly to my foster family when I arrived at their home. I especially love my foster mom and foster sisters, both human and furry ones! One of my favorite things to do is go outside, run my heart out and play chase with my foster furry sisters. It’s so much fun! I recently found my voice, so when I go outside I get really excited and bark to tell everyone just how excited I am! My foster mom tells me to quiet down, because she says I am too loud sometimes. Oops. When I’m outside, I also like finding sticks/pinecones in the woods. I don’t eat them, I just like to bring them to my humans. You’re welcome for the gift. My foster mom tries to get me to play fetch with a ball, and most of the time I will bring the ball back to her.. but sometimes, I choose not to. She says it’s something we are working on, whatever that means. I do not chase squirrels, but I do like to watch them. I think I would do okay with cats, but have not actually interacted with one. After I’ve burned off some of my puppy energy I like to go inside and curl up on my blanket. I prefer to curl right up next to you, though- if you’ll let me. My foster mom works from home, so I’ll lay on my bed in her office and I even make appearances on her Zoom calls. I like to know where she is at all times and stay by her side to make sure she is protected. If my foster mom even stands up from her office chair, I am there ready to go with her to see what we are going to do! I really like snuggles and will roll over for belly rubs. My foster mom tells me I’m a really good girl. I have not tried to eat anyone’s shoes and I don’t chew on anything I’m not supposed to. I save my chewing for buffalo horns.. and boy do I love my buffalo horns! I will chew those for a good while before I take a nap or when my furry foster sisters do not want to play with me. I am not food driven, but I do love my treats! When I go potty outside, I always get one! This makes my foster mom so happy. I have had a few accidents inside, but that was when I first came to my foster home. I am working really hard on this, plus my furry foster sisters go outside to use the potty and I want to be like them. I am crate trained and can sleep all night in one! I do get sad when my foster family leaves the house and I have to get in my crate. Sometimes I will bark because I miss them so much. I also am working on my leash manners. My foster mom and dad say I am doing pretty good though. I really love my foster family (humans and furry) but would be fine as an only dog as well. My foster mom says I only deserve the very best, so if that is you, please adopt me!
