Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. Hi. I'm Tasha, a very sweet and loving dog. I'm 1.5 years old 47 pound cuddler. I'm in love with tummy rubs and snuggling up to my humans. During play time I just like to be silly and a goofy adolescent plus I am an expert collector of socks, it's like a hobby of mine. I collect them then throw them in the air for some excellent entertainment then I'll take off running hoping someone will chase me. As an alternative to sock fun if you let me outside and I take laps around the yard like the cutest track star ever. I'm even up for a game of tag with my foster dog siblings or just exploring the yard taking in all amazing scents. But once it's time to be calm I can be laid back and happy to chill with my humans and dog siblings. I walk pretty well on a leash and am potty trained and crate trained.
I'm very good around my humans including the kids as well as foster dog siblings. I even kind of get along with cats in the house although I do like to bark at them if they are teasing me behind the gate but they are cats so what would one expect. When those dang cats are laying around in the living room I don't even give them the time of day, they don't deserve my attention!
I'm still working on trying not to do some counter surfing but that human food is so darn good.
I would be a sweet girl for all types of active families with or without pets. I'm a cuddler and sweet as can be but if I think you are in trouble I'll protect you by barking if needed.
