Hello there! My name is Aspen and I’m a beautiful one year old shepherd mix! When my foster mom saw me, she said I reminded her of the wolves from The Jungle Book movie.. but, despite what people think, I’m not a wolf or a wolf dog! I’m just a regular dog! Don't let my stunning good looks fool you, though. I can be quite the sneaky little gal. My favorite things are counter surfing, dumpster diving, and stealing my human siblings stuffed animals! In my defense, they leave things where I can reach them. I love all the people and dogs I meet! I really love it when they are playful like me! I am a petite gal at only 43 pounds, but I can certainly hang with almost any sized canine friend. I sleep soundly in my crate at night and sometimes even during the day for a bit. I also do all of my business outside, except the first few days at my foster home. I do get car sick, but my foster mom thinks that can get better with more car rides. I am a sweet girl who loves attention and affection. My foster mom says I deserve someone truly special and she really wishes it could be her! I am being fostered near Raleigh, NC.
