Meet Tippy!   She's a 3 year old, 65 pound ball of energy and her favorite thing to do is play chase (her idea of fetch but you are fetching her, lol).   She loves playing outside and really loves chasing a ball. She'll chase it as long as you can throw it!   She's a higher energy dog and training and play time really help her to be a great dog. Tippy is a very loving girl. She loves head rubs, and lots of snuggles. She likes to be by her humans and keeps her foster mom company many nights while she is studying. Tippy is potty trained and does well on a leash.   She's good about taking direction on walks and will follow her person's lead.   Tippy is crate trained, but does get excited when she knows it's time to get out (she's working on staying calm as part of that process).   She enjoys playing with other dogs (prefers males) her size, but would do well as an only dog. Proper introductions are necessary when she meets other dogs. Tippy has a kitty foster brother but she thinks he’s a toy, so she would do better in a home without kitties. Tippy likes kids, but her loud barks tend to scare them. She would do best in a home with children that are 12 or older. This girl thoroughly enjoys car rides. She loves to stick her head out the window and enjoy that wind in her hair and mouth. Like a lot of German Shepherds, she can have a loud bark when she wants to communicate something, and that can be intimidating, but we are working to keep her voice down when appropriate.   That ongoing training will be beneficial to her active brain in the future.   Tippy tolerates having her nails done, but requires some coaxing with peanut butter.   She's ready to find a great family that will keep her active with training and play time, plus lots of head pets and snuggles.
