Rambo is 5 years old shepherd boy who is looking for his new furever family. He was surrendered to the shelter after a life of living outside. Rambo is very loving and affectionate. He has a love for humans and has bonded really well with his foster family! We often call him a Husky in German Shepherds body because of how much he talks! Rambo will require another confident and loving doggy in his future home. Rambo is the kind of dog who loves to be by your side and doing things with you. He LOVES to play fetch. He is gentle and will return the ball to you. Rambo is very easily handled. He walks on a leash and likes to be brushed. Rambo would love to go out for hikes, walks and or just hangout in the back yard playing ball all day. He gets very exciting when you pull out his leash and jumps right into the car! Rambo would do good with teenage kids, but has never been around young kids so we can’t say for sure how he would be. Rambo is also very good with other dogs, but no cats in his furever home. At this time we are looking to place Rambo in a home with another socialized and active dog. He loves the other dogs in his foster home and has always lived with other dogs. Rambo is very smart, crate trained and is potty trained. He is not the type to mark the house. As far as crate training goes, he knows to go to his crate when told and will actually go sleep in his crate if he’s ready for bed. Once he’s adapted to a new home, I don’t think a crate would be necessary for him. He has never chewed on furniture, etc and would love to sleep with you or in a bed next to yours.
