Hello, my name is Annie. I am an approximately 8 year old, 85 pound, beautiful girl.  I'm low maintenance and love to hang out relaxing in the house and in my space (including my open door crate) .  I am crate and house trained. I am getting better with commands and understand "come here" and "sit" although don't get me distracted when this is happening or I may lose focus.  I also love to watch TV, it is so fascinating to me. 

 

The ideal house for me would be one with no children or at least dog savvy children.  I do not like my mouth being touched but as long as my people are gentle with me I am alright.  I currently have an 11 year old foster human (sister) and I do great with her. My human sister  pets me and I let her do pretty much anything and I am good with it but she knows when I am wanting to be more on my own and given some space.  I have gotten a lot better at sharing my toys with humans now that I am more comfortable.  Early on I didn;t want anyone to take them from me because I was worried I'd never get them back.  

 

I am a sweetheart once I get comfortable around my surroundings. My foster mom is home with me most of the day now; she leaves the crate door open so I can have freedom, but I still love sleeping in my crate most of the day. I mostly come out to eat, drink, or when I have to go potty. I am still getting used to the stairs, they are a bit scary, but I just need a little encouragement to go up & down. 

 

I haven't been around other animals very much but when I see other dogs I am simply curious so having doggie siblings is a possibility.  

 

My foster family always tells me I’m such a good girl and anyone would be lucky to have me as their furever dog.
