My name is Moose, and I am a fun-loving, excited 1.5 year old, purebred German Shephard Dog! I am a black-and-tan 88 lb hunk of love, and I’m searching for my fur-ever family. I have lots of energy so if you like to go on adventures, I'm the guy for you! So far I’ve tried hiking, boating, and dog parks, and I loved it all. I really enjoy running around outside, chasing balls, and playing with my 3-year-old human sister. My favorite thing to do is playing with other dogs! I like it even more when they want to play with me, too! My insistence on playing sometimes aggravates my older dachshund sister who would rather just snuggle all day. Occasionally, I will lay down and relax if the environment is calm enough and I’ve gotten my exercise in. My ideal family would be me, my parent(s), and an energetic fur brother or sister to play with. I’m looking for a family who has lots of time to give me the constant attention I give them. A fenced in yard for exercise is great! I am able to walk on a leash and I love going for power walks! Sometimes I do get distracted by potential puppy friends and try my hardest to go say hi. I haven’t met a cat, so I am not sure how I feel about them. Right now, I can sit and lay down, and I am working on being able to stay. I am fully house-trained, so no need to worry about messes like that!! I sleep all night through in my crate, and you just have to tell me to go to bed and I run right in! I am good staying in my crate through the day while my owners work, as long as they can still give me the exercise I need before, after, and on a lunch break from work. I really like having a lot of different chewing options to keep me occupied. I know that furniture, tables, and counters are off-limits, but I like to think that anything on the floor is mine, so my parents have learned to keep the floors very tidy! I am getting a little better with “drop it,” but sometimes it takes a few times to realize we aren’t playing a fun game.
