My name is Jefe and I am a super cuddly one year old boy that loves everyone! I can be slightly reserved when meeting new dogs, but once I have a chance to sniff things out I’m super playful and energetic! When it comes to meeting new people, there’s no hesitation at all and I’m always excited to play! I love getting my belly scratched and playing tug-of-war, but I’m also happy to relax and chew on my favorite toy for hours on end. You might even find me hanging out in my crate for a mid-day nap if we aren’t running circles outside or playing in the house! I really love my crate and have no problem spending the night there, as long as I have a few toys to keep me occupied. I’ve got all the basic commands down and I’m a great listener, but I can zone out and get distracted pretty easily. That’s why it’s recommended that I go to a home with someone willing to work with me on recall and name recognition, preferably with treats! But otherwise I can sit, stay, lay down, and will even wait for you to tell me it’s ok to eat my food! I love going on walks and am great on the leash, even with another dog tied to me! I am also housebroken. Because of my size, about 75lbs, it’s recommended that I go to a home without small children around, since I have some trouble with personal space. Sometimes when I greet people, I like to nibble on their fingers before I sniff them, but with the right training I’m sure I can move past that and learn how to properly ask for pets!
