Hi! My name is Tuck! I am a sweet and goofy 75 pound, two-and-a-half-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix. I enjoy playing with my foster siblings and would do well in a home with other large, energetic, playful dogs. I have not been around cats or children, but my foster parents believe I would do fine in a home with older children. I get very excited at times, so I would probably accidentally knock over the littles. When I’m not playing, I absolutely love to cuddle and will let you rub my ears for hours. I am mostly crate trained, but I can be pretty vocal when I’m ready to be let out. I can be trusted to roam free with my foster siblings, but have been caught pulling things off the coffee table. Oops. I have also chewed a hole in my foster dad’s slipper. I was just trying to create some air flow, but he didn’t appreciate the help. So now my foster family is teaching me what is and isn’t acceptable behavior. I walk well on a leash and enjoy learning new commands. I have a beautiful brindle coat that has tendency to shed quite a bit, but that is the only mess I make inside since I am housebroken. I enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and going on adventures. I love car rides, but get nervous to actually get in the car. Hopefully with time I’ll just jump right in! I am looking for a forever home with a patient family that loves to work on training, play and cuddle! I am recovering from heartworm treatment, so I won’t be available until just after Thanksgiving.
