Meet Luna, the fifty-five-pound, four-year-old German Shepherd mix. She is full of energy and would love a family with a fenced in yard where she can run around and play. Playing fetch is still one-sided as she does not like to return the item, but she will run around and play with you all day. Long walks mixed with jogging and sprints keep her even more relaxed throughout the day. Luna is great with kids of all ages - she currently lives with a 4 year old and a 6 year old. Luna is housebroken, knows basic commands such as sit and stay, and is currently working on crate training and leash etiquette. She is incredibly smart and easily trainable. A family willing to continue her training and play with her frequently is ideal. She would prefer to be around her humans and not be left in the yard or crate for extended periods, especially if you are home. She loves attention and will want to be where you are. Car rides are some of her favorites and will love going on adventures with you. Luna is dog friendly but has not been tested with cats and is currently being fostered near Raleigh, NC.
