Hi there, my name is Leona and I am a super sweet four year old girl. I am on the smaller side at only 55lbs. I am crate trained and fully house broken. I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I’m looking for a furever family that will be patient with me and show me that I don’t need to be afraid of things.

I’m pretty shy when I first meet someone new, but once I get comfortable, I will not leave your side. I know sit and lay down, but I’m still working on this whole “stay” thing. It’s a little hard for me since I just want to be next to you.

I love my rope toy, long walks/runs (preferable in nature because I’m a little scared of cars) and car rides with the windows open. I’m pretty good at walking on a leash- I pull a little at the beginning, but settle down after a few minutes… unless I see a squirrel. I love squirrels. I also like to relax and can nap while you watch Netflix. I am a little obsessed with stealing socks, but other than that, I pretty much leave your stuff alone.

I love, love, love toys, but according to my previous owner I’m not a fan of sharing with my fur siblings. I tested well with multiple dogs at the shelter, but I also don’t mind being the only fur baby at my foster mom’s house. On my daily walks, I have done well meeting large dogs but am not a fan of small ones.
