~~Hi, my name is Echo and I'm a gorgeous two year old, 70 pound sable boy! I have lots of energy so if you like to run, I'm the doggie companion for you.  I’m searching for my fur-ever family. I really enjoy walks outdoors, getting scratches, and playing with my foster brother. My ideal family would be me, my foster parent(s) and maybe a fur brother or sister to play with.  I'm friends with all of the dog friends I meet.  I recently learned that I do well with calm older children (over 12) but not so much with small children - I don't understand what to think of the loud noises they make and their energy is something else!  I’m looking for a family who has time to train me, and give me lots of love. A fenced in yard for exercise is a plus, too! My favorite place to be is next to my human(s). I love them so much that when I'm in the car with them, I'll bark really loudly when someone walks up.  I just want my family to know STRANGER DANGER!!  At night, I sleep in their bedroom and alligator roll all over the bed until they send me to my bed, tuck me in and tell me goodnight.  My foster parents say I'm doing well with leash manners but sometimes I'll try to go for a squirrel or a bunny if I see one.  My prey drive is one reason why I should not live with cats.  My foster family is working on basic manners with me. Right now, I can sit and shake for food. Why would I do it if there is no pepperoni involved?! Sometimes I get in trouble for counter surfing, but who wouldn't steal chicken from the counter when no one's watching?  My people also don’t love when I mouth them, but I can’t help it when I want pets or get too excited. Sometimes their hands and arms just end up in my mouth! I'd never do anything to hurt them though.
