Hi, there! I'm Knox and I'm a 3 year old, 60 pound, lover boy that is full of energy. I warm up quickly to everyone I meet, but I am always a little cautious of them at first. I have only seen cats on walks and outside the window. I am not sure how I feel about them. I have not had close interaction with children, but I have seen them through the fence and I think I would do well around them as long as someone was there to help me learn how to behave. I love to play with other dogs and I have bursts of energy where I love to run around the house and yard, but don't worry, I also love to just lay down on the nice cool floor and take naps while you watch TV, study, or enjoy your other hobbies.

I am crate trained and am almost completely house broken, but sometimes I have accidents when I don't know how to ask to go outside. I am very curious about my surroundings and things around the house and sometimes when I'm playing I'll mistake something for a dog toy that isn't a toy, but I am very smart and learning quickly about the things I am allowed to play with. I am a little bit afraid of squeaky toys, whenever they make that noise I get worried I hurt them and run away. I'm just such a sweet boy that I don't want to hurt anything.

I still need work with basic commands, but I am excited about learning to sit and lay down.

I am still a little skinny, but I love food. I'm a little bit picky about some treats, but I usually enjoy peanut butter, dog biscuits, and chew bones. I am good at sharing toys and food and I never get mad when people or other dogs come between me and my people or stuff! I would do well in a house with another dog and I think I would really enjoy having a brother or sister to keep me company. I grew up in a home with lots of other dogs and I might be lonely without a companion.

I really hope to meet you and it would be a dream to come home to a loving family that can help me continue learning and growing and becoming the best boy I can be!
