~~Justice is served! Hi, Everybody! My name is Justice and I’m an 80 pound, two year old boy. I was surrendered to the animal shelter because my previous owners thought that I was beautiful but didn’t realize how much work a young, energetic puppy like me would be. Don’t feel sorry for me, though, because now I have a new opportunity to find an adopter who will love me furever and will work with me to become my best self!
I am housebroken and crate trained but because I am young, I will need an active adopter to help me release all of my energy. I need a lot of mental stimulation or else I will chew, I mean love on, your pillows. However, I do NOT have separation anxiety. I like toys and my favorite one is a super large elk antler. If you try to engage me in playing fetch, I will go get the ball, but will run off with it, lie down and lick it. If you really want me to play fetch with you, prepare to keep coming back to me to get the ball. You threw the ball, so you obviously don’t want it, right?! I love going for walks and do well on leash on my long, daily walks. My foster mom says I would make a great running or hiking partner. Don’t tell her I said this, but I don’t know why she would say that considering she only runs when she hears the ice cream truck;)
I like playing with other dogs but I do not need one to keep me company. Any potential fur siblings would have to be just as playful as I am or would at least have to help me learn how to play respectfully. My foster mom and my three current fur siblings keep trying to teach me that pawing at my fur siblings to get them to play is not acceptable. Why though??!! Want to know another cool thing about me? I enjoy getting shampooed and having my fur blown out. My foster mom says I’m quite the diva. Can you believe that she calls me a diva??!! Seriously, who doesn’t enjoy a day at the spa? Foster mom also calls me a clown because she says that I am a baby puppy that’s trapped in an adult body. I act like a puppy in that I am an expert at making puppy eyes at you, will investigate what’s on the counter when you’re not looking and will accidentally bite down when I give you open mouth puppy kisses. I just get so excited and will nip to get your attention. I like just about everyone I meet but foster mom says that I need a confident handler because I am size and strength unaware. For that reason, my ideal home would be one without small children. Foster mom also wants me to tell you that I am generally quiet around the house but I will howl when I hear a siren. I’m naturally protective of my people and am really looking forward to having a furever home of my own. If you think that you can offer me my furever home, please complete an adoption application. I am being fostered in Fayetteville, NC. Love, Justice.
